Silvia is the last of three siblings.
Her older sister Alessandra lives in Sicily in a beach house she designed and built along with her boyfriend Pino and together thet run a sea side restort business, Cabana&Nabana (www.cabananabana.it).
Her middle brother Giammarco is an experienced chef who has been travelling all over the world treating the palats of many people.
Her father Mario is a cross between Scottish actor Sean Connery and Indian actor Kabir Bedi.
Her mother Loredana successfully manages an Educational Travel Agency in Milan, Euroeduca (www.euroeduca.it).
Silvia got married to her Van Helsing co-star Richard Roxburgh the 25th of September 2004.
Her husband Richard has been included in WHO magazine's " 25 Sexiest people of 2005" list!
Her Australian family and friends call her "Silvi". Her closest Italian friends call her by her surname .
When she got married to Richard she became the Aunt of 17 nieces and nephews aged between 7 and 32.
She is an opera trained singer. Her repertoire include " Carmen", " Le nozze di figaro", " Cosi' Fan Tutte", "Samson et Dalila". She sang Schubert's Ave Maria at her cousin Elena's wedding, who got married 2 weeks before she and Richard did.
